#TackleTheTaboo - CPJ Field Death and Bereavement Study
Earlier this year we commissioned a brand new research study into the perceptions and attitudes surrounding death, bereavement and funerals in the modern world.
Our report has focused on life and legacy, particularly focusing on how digital technology is affecting the way people grieve, and how people are planning for their own passing.
The first report, "Making the Most of Life", available here, examines how funeral planning and attitudes towards death are changing across generations, and how they are being influenced by what society deems a 'good' life to be.
Why not take a look at our blog post which outlines more information around what happens to your social channel profiles after death.
The second report, "The F Word - Taking the taboo out of funerals", explores the need for people to be more open about funeral planning and death, with insight into how different generations feel about discussing these topics with their loved ones. It also discusses the advent of the ‘DIY’ funeral and highlights how more and more people are wanting to take charge of their own send off.
