In memory of
Philip George Kenton
In loving memory of Philip George Kenton, who was a much loved Husband, Father and Grandfather who will be dearly missed.
Philip carried out two years of National service when he was 18, serving in the army in Hong Kong.
He spent much of his working life as an administrator for the home office and Bucks County Council.
Philip was always such a kind, loving and thoughtful person, who shared his love of his local football team Queens Park Rangers, with the rest of the family. Philip often attended matches at QPR with the rest of the family and has been a season ticket holder for many seasons.
Philip’s great sense of humour, and the quirky way he used to rub his hands together, when laughing or telling a joke, will be missed.
Philip was a devout Christian and lived out his strong Christian beliefs including being a foster carer alongside his wife Brenda, who looked after over 40 foster babies and children.
We will miss Philip dearly, but find some comfort in the fact that he is no longer suffering.
We thank the Lord that our dear Dad and husband is now in a much better place in the presence of his loving heavenly father, and look forward to seeing him again one day, in heaven. Until that day we will cherish all the memories and special times we enjoyed together, and he will always have a special place in our hearts.
