It is with great sadness, the family of Allyson Chisholm Sowrey announce her death, at age 69, after a tragic fall at home. She will be greatly missed by her daughter Katie, her son-in-law Richard, her grandchildren Albie, Tilly and Milo, and her sister Jill, her brother-in-law Derek and their children Nina, Abbey, Lois & Luke.
Allyson was a lifelong educator, talented gardener, avid reader and cook who shared her interests with many friends in her local community. She was a very loving sister, parent and grandparent and relished spending time and playing games with her grandchildren when she visited them in New York.
She will be greatly missed by all who knew her for her kindness, intelligence and warmth.
