In memory of

Charles Bernard Durman

It is with great sadness that the family of Mr Charles Bernard Durman announces his passing after illness, on January 24th 2024, at the age of 73.

Charles passed away peacefully and will be remembered by his wife Pauline, his sons Andrew, Phil, daughter Jennifer and grandchild Eric.

Charles was Salvation Army Officer for over 36 years completing missionary work abroad in Bangladesh and Pakistan (a part of the world he felt most at home and happiest) until the early 90's. Then returning to the UK to continue work here.

He loved many things including bird watching, general knowledge and the music of Flanders and Swann (to name but a few).
