Born in London to Nancy and Ronald Richards seventy-six years ago on the 25th January, Emily died peacefully in her sleep at home in Lower Stoneham, Sussex, around dawn on the 2nd October.
She will be much missed by all her family - her sisters, her children, Edward her husband of forty-five years, and also by her friends.
Over the years, thousands watched Emily's radiant and moving performances on stage and on screen, and heard her profound voice on radio.
