In memory of
Antony Thomas Essam (Tom)
After bravely fighting cancer for 24 years, Tom passed away peacefully at home on Monday 15th August with his mum Jocelyn and sister Victoria by his side.
He was loved by so many friends and family members and will be remembered as a truly wonderful man.
Tom's funeral will be a celebration of his life. Family flowers only. The family would like any donations be made to Maggie's - a charity providing free cancer support and information in centres across the UK, including at the Royal Marsden Hospital, Sutton, where Tom was able to access their facilities during his visits. The building at Sutton is an architecturally pleasing location, which Tom appreciated. It was a place he and Jocelyn enjoyed spending time, drinking tea, talking to the staff and generally feeling calm in the light, airy, comforting space. https://www.maggies.org/
