Carlo Agostino Manfredi
Carlo Manfredi loving husband, father, brother and uncle died unexpectedly in his sleep on June 14, 2022 at his home in Eastbourne.
Carlo was born on February 29,1964 to John and Margherita in Stoke on Trent and was the youngest brother of Giovanna and Romeo.
Carlo attended Ascham Prep School In Eastbourne where he was very fond of his school teacher Mrs Jefford and friend Jonathan Hyder.
After graduating from Mount St Mary's Boarding School in Yorkshire, he started working in the family's ice cream parlour, Macari's ,which he took over with his older brother when his parents retired and moved to Italy.
In the early 90'ies he settled in Australia for 2 years working as a restaurant manager in Fitzroy Island, Great Barrier Reef but returned back to the UK to co-manage the Ice Cream parlour.
After selling Macari's in 2003, he continued to manage their property rental business with his brother Romeo.
In his youth, Carlo travelled the world and appreciated and embraced different cultures, always searching for meaningful experiences.
Carlo walked the full length of the Spanish Pilgrimage known as the Camino Santiago de Compostela in 25 days which is believed to be the final resting place of the apostle St James.
Carlo was passionate about his music and was very sad over the loss of our adorable Labradoodle Sunny who he called his best friend. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 28 years, Fulya, his daughter Akasya, his son Raffael, his nephew Mario and all his family in the UK, Italy and Turkiye.
