It is with great sadness that the family of Barry Collins announce that he has passed away.
Born 28th October 1945 - 76 years old
Born in Shoeburyness in Essex
Passed away on 19th February 2022
In Stoke Mandeville Hospital
We lost our wonderful Barry after a tremendous brave fight with Myeloma.
A loving devoted Husband, fantastic father and an amazing grandfather.
Barry grew up in Aston Clinton and always lived in the local surrounding villages.
He was always bright and cheery and full of fun and always there to help anyone.
Barry started his own company Wendover Motor Spares in the 80’s and worked tirelessly throughout his illness. He was so grateful for the support and business his customers gave him.
Barry had been diagnosed with myeloma 10 years ago and fought a very tough and brave battle. He was extremely grateful to the nurses, doctors and staff at the Royal Marsden Hospital Surrey for the treatment, love and care they gave him and for not giving up on him, right up till the end, when no more treatments were available. One thing Barry wanted was to help raise more money for the research into treatments for myeloma at the Royal Marsden Hospital to help people like him and the lovely people he made friends with also battling myeloma.
