Grandad to 8 beautiful Grandchildren
Joe was born in 1945 in Boston Street, Brighton. In his early teens he was an active member in St. Mary Magdalen Church where he run a youth club. His other hobbies were pigeon racing, fishing and shooting. He also loved looking after his budgies, Kois and breeding rabbits. He was also a keen ballroom dancer. What he enjoyed the most was sea fishing on his boat, Fascinator.
His first job was at Blackman’s Farm in Falmer.
He then went onto work in a couple of factories in Hollingbury. It was when he worked at ITT Creed when he met the love of his life Gill. They both went onto have 3 beautiful children and 7 (soon to be 8) happy and healthy grandchildren. Joe described himself as the luckiest Dad & Grandad in the world.
He will be sorely missed.
