Affordable Funerals

We offer a range of funeral services because we understand that sometimes a lower cost, more affordable funeral is the most suitable.

Some families choose to reduce costs by opting for a simpler funeral. In order to meet the demands of all our families, we have developed a range of funeral service options. Our priority is to ensure you receive exactly what you wish for.

You can talk directly to a funeral arranger at your local funeral home to ensure you receive the most appropriate funeral for you and your loved one. Please contact us to discuss.

A range of funeral services

We offer families a wide choice when it comes to selecting the best send off for the person who has died.

We arrange full-service funerals which is an occasion where guests come together for a traditional farewell, and both religious and non-religious options are available.

We also offer affordable, simpler funerals where a straightforward cremation is arranged without the support of the full funeral director’s services.

What is the difference between a no ceremony funeral and a direct cremation?

A no ceremony funeral is a more affordable funeral, where the family does receive the full support of the funeral home and advice from your local funeral director.

The person who has died remains local. You can choose a coffin and you will have the chance to make use of our mortuary facilities in our funeral home. You will also have the choice of a crematorium and access to our online portal. Our Funeral Director will accompany the deceased person to the crematorium and will carry out the funeral, unattended by mourners or a celebrant.

A direct cremation is a no-fuss option in which the person who has died is simply cremated without a funeral service or ceremony. If you decide on a direct cremation, our specialist service, Liberty Cremations, can arrange this on your behalf.

What happens before and after a direct cremation?

With a direct cremation, the deceased person will be collected and transported to the crematorium. No mourners are present and there is no service, but some choose to arrange a separate ceremony. After the cremation, the ashes are sent back to the family. Ashes can be scattered or made into an item of jewellery or keepsake.

The CPJ Field approach

Our view is that a funeral is a good time to gather, reflect and remember the person who has died. However, just as every person is unique, every funeral is too and we will always strive to find the right choice for you that you are comfortable with.

Our teams are available at our funeral homes for discussion at any time on all types of funeral arrangements, from the more affordable to the more elaborate.
