Casual Funeral Service Team Member - Haine & Son, Eastbourne

We are currently seeking a Funeral Service Team Member (Chauffeur/Bearer) to join our team in London. We are looking for someone truly special, an individual dedicated to supporting families through one of the most difficult times in their lives.

You will provide support to Funeral Directors, helping with all matters concerning funeral provision. Acting as a key support, this role is suitable for those who enjoy variety and flexibility and would be keen to contribute to all aspects of the business, from attending funerals, to chauffeuring, to collecting and preparing coffins prior to funerals.

Location:

Eastbourne.

Specific roles and duties·

• Attendance at funerals, including driving vehicles and bearing coffins on the shoulder·
• Ensure immaculate appearance of all company vehicles at all times·
• To prepare graves and plots for ashes interments, including the removal and replacement of memorial tablet·
• Willing and able to assist with any other duties which arise on a day to day basis which enhance the service and presentation of the company·
• Keeping all premises of CPJ Field & Co clean and tidy.
