Across Buckinghamshire and Hertfordshire, as part of our Never Alone programme, we run community events for people to meet other like-minded people local to you, for some refreshments and a chat. A selection of events is available in the towns of Amersham, Aylesbury, Bletchley, Buckingham, Tring, Wendover and Winslow.
Available at any time, to anyone, Never Alone provides information and guidance on how to reduce feelings of loneliness. Offering emotional and practical support, plus introductions to local groups and clubs, Never Alone offers a gateway to brighter times ahead.
Please come along and join our community choir, all are welcome, no experience is needed just a desire to join in and have fun. The choir meets weekly every Thursday 10.30am to 12.30pm at the Church on Fairford Leys, Hampden Square, Fairford Leys HP19 7HT.
Come and take part in our community groups at Foxhill Indoor Bowls Club, Aylesbury Sports Ground, 86 Wendover Road, Aylesbury HP21 9NJ every Tuesday between 10.30am – 12.30pm. Take part in colouring activities or enjoy a variety of games in a welcoming space. Open to everyone, you are welcome to just pop in for a cuppa and chat.
Bring along your lunch and enjoy a lovely warm space with complimentary tea and coffee at Foxhill Indoor Bowls Club, Aylesbury Sports Ground, 86 Wendover Road, Aylesbury HP21 9NJ every Wednesday between 10.30am to 1pm. A £5 meal deal will also be available. You are welcome to just pop in for a cuppa and chat.
