Thia Daisy can’t be easily forgotten! Her generosity, sociability, energy, good spirits, lavish hospitality in Bolney and Barbati, her telephone calls (always remembering your b-day and name day - even on 27/12/22, in my case), her stories (going way back to the day when you were born) and her advice (on all manner of issues, including lifestyle :-), all this made her really special! There was a strong family connection and - I believe - genuinely great love. I’m grateful that - in all likelihood - I’ll be there to say good-bye on Thursday 9/2/23.

I will never forget you when you opened your home to me during the time I needed it (1962-1966). With you, I was able to delve deeply into English culture, which I have been using in my personal and professional life ever since. I will always remember you.
