Social

Coffee Morning

Our all-age coffee morning is open most Wednesdays from 10.30am to 12 noon. Please feel free to pop in at any time, to meet and make new friends over tea, coffee and homemade cakes.

For Friendship and Fun

This is a well established Social Club for people aged 60 and over living in South East London and North Kent. Our social club events include: Meals out, Ten Pin Bowling, Historic Buildings and Gardens, Quiz Nights and more.

Befriending Hubs

Our Community Hubs are a safe place where older people can socialise, make friends and take part in fun activities. The weekly Hubs are aimed at people who are still mobile but might be feeling a little socially isolated. Our activities include quizzes, craft events, guest speakers, outings to local places of interest, and board games – such as scrabble, dominos or cards – as well as a cup of tea and a nice chat.

We meet on the first Tuesday of the month for a circular walk around Kelsey Park followed by refreshments back at the Community Cafe. It is a good opportunity to make new friends and find out more about the wildlife and fauna contained within the park whilst getting fitter.
