Charlie Field

Charlie Field, who has been part of CPJ Field since 2008, is our Deputy Chairman and a 10th generation family member at CPJ Field & Co Ltd.

Today, CPJ Field operates from over 40 locations across the South of England and is also one of Europe’s largest repatriation providers. Charlie is a director of Homeland International, a specialist provider of international repatriation services to funeral directors, private families, and corporate clients. Charlie also leads the UK’s leading funeral management software under the name Seker Tech. By combining automated processes, intelligent learning and industry expertise, Charlie has been instrumental in the growth and expansion of eFD, to give funeral directors more time to care for their clients.

Charlie’s earlier career spans the Army, policy, and finance. He retains a keen interest in policy work and chairs the FBUK Policy Committee, whilst also serving as a Non-Executive Director on FBUK's Board. He is a Trustee of the Institute for Family Business Research Foundation. Charlie is still an active member of the Army Reserve; he holds the rank of Lieutenant Colonel.
