As a family company with decades of experience, we can help you to find the right support as part of our Never Alone programme. Never Alone is open to all and can help you get the emotional, social, or practical support you need to work to alleviate the symptoms of depression.

How Never Alone can help you

Our Never Alone programme offers recommendations, groups and resources that are local to you. You could join on of our coffee mornings or knitting groups to help boost your mood. Discover how you, or a loved one, could benefit from Never Alone.

Identifying the symptoms of depression

Depression can affect anything from your thoughts to your behaviour, and might include one or more of the following:

Struggling to cope with depression?

We recommend speaking to your GP as soon as you can. Or you can find alternative sources of support here. If you are experiencing suicical thoughts, please call the Samaritans on freephone 116 123. They’re here for you 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

  • continuous sadness or low mood
  • little interest or pleasure in doing things
  • moving or speaking slower than usual 
  • trouble falling or staying asleep
  • avoiding friends and social activities
  • suicidal thoughts
