Just as we strive to offer ceremonies for all personalities, so too do we offer services for all budgets. This is part of our philosophy as a family-owned business.

We’ll provide you with a clear estimate early on…

…so you know exactly what to expect. This will detail our costs, as well as including a number of third party costs, also known as ‘disbursements’, which we’ll pay on your behalf.

In cases of hardship, we offer a concessionary service. If you or your partner receive any form of state benefits, you may be entitled to receive help towards the costs. We’ll be happy to discuss this with you.

Burial costs are generally higher due to the plot price and the interment fees.   With cremation you pay a crematorium fee and funeral directors fees.   In addition you can choose a coffin, transport, flowers, all of which can vary in price.  We work with families to create a truly personalised funeral to meet your budget.  . Yes, there is a cost difference. A crematorium is generally cheaper as the fee includes the use of the chapel, and a separate venue will add venue hire, transport between locations, and more time for funeral staff.   Our colleagues are very helpful when trying to help you decide what costs you will be paying.

Flowers, orders of service, or transport are common extras but you can decide how much you want to spend.  Typical costs are £20 for a simpler arrangement through to £200 for a more elaborate display.  Orders of service can cost between £40 and £100. Transport is partially included.  A standard hearse is included. However family cars are not included.  We are happy to help with all your questions around costs from local florists, printers or our own transport.

Yes there may be additional costs such as the cost of a death certificate, or out of hours collection, doctor’s fees, extra mileage costs.  Always speak to  your funeral director about all aspects of your funeral costs.
