I feel blessed and privileged to have worked with you Stef at Bournemouth Council. We sat in our shared office and put the world to rights. Both as a colleague and friend you always gave more than you received. You bore your illness with grace and showed that life is for living and loving to the max. The universe is brighter now with your amazing energy. I love you ❤️

Our Stef, one in a million, her legacy is in the lives of those she influenced and shaped. Mine just being just one of them. We laughed, we cried, we talked for hours, we put the world to rights on so many occasions, we laughed and then we laughed some more😂😂
And , oh my did she love her boys. Happiness, laughter, adventure and mayhem that was Stef, her Elvis and Jim Joe all over.
As she wrote in her last text to me ‘Nite nite my lovely friend xxx‘
And until we laugh again together sleep tight my beautiful friend,

We were so sad to hear of Steph’s passing she was such a warm and loving person so full of life and real fun to be around. I will always remember our afternoons together watching rugby with you both and the fun we had at your wedding, beer fest and only a few years ago when we had dinner and stayed at your lovely little home. Steph introduced us to Alexa that weekend. Our thoughts are with you today Bernie as you lay Steph to rest we only wish we could have been there for you but I know there will be so many people there that loved her as much as we did. You have wonderful memories of your time with Steph and I know you were a rock to her through her illness. Take care of yourself mate xxx

Back in the 1990s Stef was a youth worker.. one of the very best... because of her personal qualities... compassion, empathy, honesty, integrity, a zest for life and a great sense of humour.. we have fond memories of her.
