My brother David and I are very saddened to hear the news of Richard’s passing. Had some good times down the Ship pub. Remember going round Saturday mornings when all the Blandons were doing the Times crossword as I lived round the corner. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. Mark and Dave
I am so sorry for your loss. Richard was a good friend and a kind, supportive friend.
I will miss him very much. Xxx
So very sad to hear the passing of Dick. Taken far too young. Many memories of growing up with him, both at school and at our regular haunt, The Ship, along with his brother John and the others in our gang - Roger, Tony, Paul, Mark and others. My thoughts are with Maria and John at this difficult time.

Can't believe you're gone mate, one of my oldest friends - I shall remember our growing up adventures forever and smile - miss you Dickie.
I'm so sorry for your loss. Richard has been my friend and colleague for so long I find it difficult to imagine work him. I'll miss our regular Pub visits. He was a kind and friendly soul and generous with his time and knowledge. I will miss him. My thoughts are with Maria and his brother.
In memory of my friend Richard Blandon.
Richard I am going to miss you so much. You have been such a good friend and colleague and I have enjoyed your company for over twenty years. Thanks for all the laughs, banter and pints!
You were not only a good mate but so highly respected and loved professionally. You were always your own man and you are going to be sorely missed by countless friend and colleagues.
Condolences on your loss, I will cherish many happy memories of Friday drinks with Richard and valued his first class knowledge at work.
Richard was quite simply one of the nicest blokes I've ever met. He was excellent company, smart and witty. All in all a class act.
So sad how the good guys often depart the scene first. It was my privilege to have known him. Rest in peace Dick you will be greatly missed.
