I had the privilege to work with Alex for a number of years. He was everything you would want in a colleague; kind, warm, encouraging, someone you could approach...if you could find him behind all the paperwork and files that crowded his desk! When I think of Alex I think of him smiling that big beaming grin of his. I'm sorry that I can't attend the funeral but please know I am thinking of all his family and friends at this time.

I am saddened for the loss of Alex. Not only did I get to work with him but he was a friend, someone I could always chat and share a laugh with. Our Star Wars banter will be a cherished memory. Working alongside Alex was truly a privilege. Beyond being a valued colleague, he was a friend — someone who listened, supported, and inspired.

Feel no guilt in laughter - he'd know how much you care.
Feel no sorrow in a smile that he is not here to share.
You cannot grieve forever - he would not want you to.
He'd hope that you could carry on - the way you always do.
