We are very sorry to hear of the untimely passing of Neville. We have fond memories of the times we all shared whilst working at the Pru. We had some great times together, usually on night's out over drinks, with lots of laughter. We have fond memories of the weekend that we and our fellow Pru friend Chris Shaw spent with Nev, Meg and the girls at your beautiful house. Sending our love and deepest sympathy. You are all in our thoughts. May he rest in peace.
It is with great sadness that we learnt of Neville’s passing. As one of the original founding Cognosis Partners, Neville or ‘Nifty’ as we knew him, played a central role in not only establishing the business, but also laying down the values and behaviours that are still evident today, some 20+ years later. Neville was truly a one-off. An incredible creative mind, with a genius ability to see unique patterns and insights. He had a boundless enthusiasm and passion for connecting people with ideas, and getting to the human truth. As a boss and colleague he was an inspiration. He knew how important it was to have fun, and really enjoy the work, all of which he delivered with his trademark irrepressible and infectious sense of curiosity and mischief. Thank you Nifty for the memories, and the legacy you leave. Our deepest condolences to Meg and the girls.
Oli Buckle-Wright, on behalf of Cognosis
I go to know Neville as a a more or less neigbourgh at Queens Gate mews London. He really took care of me as a foreigner in London. me and my husband also stayed in Woodland . what shall I say Neville touched my soul.xx Helen and Oliver
So sorry to hear of Nev's passing. I have so many fond memories of my time with Nev. He taught me a lot and I will miss his wise council, wit and creativity. Lofty
Sorry for your loss
I am so sorry to hear that Nev has passed away.
I was lucky enough to work closely with Nev on some Pret Strategy stuff in around 2016 and 2017.
Nev was kind/crazy enough to host the whole "Strategy offsite" thing at his house and I stayed in one of the glamping caravans. Really fond memories of Nev hosting us all and bringing to life to what could have been a dry work event (Although, to be honest the whole Pret group had some character, so probably wouldn't have been totally dull).
I found this website as I was googling Nev's name on the off chance he'd be up for doing something similar for my current job. It's insignificant, but I'm sad not to be able to pick his brain. I will try and breathe the life into it that he would no doubt have done. I'll remember him very fondly.
