Margaret was such a special person. She private tutored me in maths and French enabling take me to get an A in my GCSE maths and French. All of this voluntarily with tea and biscuits supplied. She was a born teacher and carer and such a generous, kind and considerate individual. Her love of children and dogs was so very special. She will always have a very special place in my heart and I will miss seeing her every Christmas when I would pop in with a card, a present and treats for the dogs and we would catch up over more tea and biscuits.
I was so sad to see that Margaret had died. She was so kind to my Grandmother, Edie Barter Cole, (Margaret called her Bart) and frequently had her to stay in her latter years, and contibuted a page and photos to her memorial book, RIP
