In memory of
Tony Midgley
Sadly Tony passed away after his battle with cancer. He was a devoted husband and best friend to Dorothy, a kind and loving Dad, Grandad, Brother, Uncle, Father in law and a great friend to many. Tony will be missed by those who knew and loved him.
The funeral will take place at Norse Road crematorium on Friday 29th January at 11.30am. Sadly due to covid restrictions, only family will be attending. However there will be an option to attend virtually, a link will be sent out closer to the time.
Family flowers only please. Any donations will go to St John's hospice whose dedicated staff visited daily for 8 weeks to support Tony in his wish to remain at home with Dorothy, meaning Tony only spent the last few hours of his life in the hospice.
Their Light Shines On
Our loved ones leave behind a light that will never dim or fade,
It's kept bright by the love we feel and the memories we made.
It can warm us like a candles glow and help bring comfort too,
And no matter where you go you'll find it's always close to you.
And in the darker times, remember in our hearts their light is strong.
So every time we think of them their memory shines on.
