Audrey Marina Brown
Audrey Marina Brown, 85, lost her battle with dementia and passed away October 7th, 2020 with her boys at her side.
She was one of five children of Richard & Edith Bean and was born 30th October 1934 in Brighton,East Sussex. Audrey left school aged 15 and went to work for a firm of accountants, Richard Sheraton & Co, learning shorthand and typing at Boxes Commercial college (Near St Peter's church , Lewes Road,Brighton). She became secretary to one of the partners and stayed in that job for the whole of her working life.
Audrey married the late Ron (Ronald) Brown in December 1955. They lived in Moulsecoomb before moving in October 1960 to what became the family home at No.6 The Byway, Coldean.
She is survived by her youngest sister, Margaret, her three boys,Martyn,Richard & Antony, 8 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
To everyone who knew her she was
fun loving, vibrant, strong, stubborn, independent, beautiful, courageous, outspoken (always with apparent zero remorse and absolute sass), always smiling, caring and loving. Enormously proud of her family. We will all miss her dearly.
Audrey's funeral will be held on Friday 30th October 2020 at the North Chapel, Woodvale Crematorium, Lewes Road, Brighton, BN2 3QB at 1pm.
