In memory of
Claire Elizabeth Callaghan
<p>For our lovely Claire who passed away on the 15th May 2020.<br></p>
<p>Following a diagnosis of terminal cancer Claire demonstrated bravery beyond measure and kept us all uplifted as the selfless and vivacious person we all remember and love. She is truly one of a kind and her loss will be felt by so many.<br></p>
<p>For those that knew Claire we ask that you join us on the 9th June at 8pm in raising a glass to her - for all that she is and will always remain as in our memories and hearts. If possible please prepare one of her favourite drinks and enjoy this whilst listening to the song that would always get her on the dance floor, Crazy by Gnarls Barkley. Drinks to be a white wine and lemonade (heavy on the lemonade), a Malibu and coke (heavy on the Malibu) or a very weak snowball.<br></p>
<p>Due to current restrictions a private funeral will be held in June with a memorial service at a later date for anybody who would like to reflect on and celebrate Claire’s life. Claire’s only requirement for her service is that guests wear all black, shed lots of tears and talk about how great she is!<br></p>
<p>Claire was cared for wonderfully by the team at Florence Nightingale Hospice in Aylesbury. The kindness, dedication and expert care given to her and her family during these past few months has been immense, and we will be forever grateful to them. It is for this reason we would request that any donations are made in Claire’s memory to the Florence Nightingale Hospice. Please see this page for the donation link.<br></p>
