After the funeral friends are invited to the Jai Ho Restaurant on Balcombe Road for food and drinks to celebrate Savita's full and luminous life.
In memory of
Savita Kuckian Toy (Savi)
Savita was born on 27 July 1963 in India and lived her first 23 years mainly in Bombay. One of four siblings she enjoyed her childhood and earned a degree in Physics before moving to Lesotho to live with her sister: Bunty and her brother in law. In Africa she met her husband to be: Matthew, and worked for both the US and EU aid agencies in Maseru.
Savita then moved to the UK with Mat and lived happily in Horley having her two children: Jay and Rania who are the heart of her World. Savi built a strong network of friends and colleagues through her work as an Accounting Technician and her hobbies of medieval re-enactment, sewing, cooking, walking, gym and archery. She believed in always doing things well and so what she did, she did with passion, commitment and skill.
Savita loved travel and enjoyed two years working and living in Thailand as well as many holidays around the World with family. In the last few years we all enjoyed major trips to India, China and Japan which were truly perfect. Savi's eyes and mind were always open to new adventures and new experiences. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
