Basil Macnab MBE

It is with great sadness that the family announce the passing of Basil Macnab MBE on March 7th 2024 aged 92.
Loving husband to Joan for 67 years, devoted father to Kevin and Nancy , proud grandfather to Ross, Adele, Lauren, Emilie-Valentine, Charlotte-Lucy and Charles-Clément and great grandfather to Carter, Audrey, Cole, Jackson ,Harper and Benjamin. A caring, inspiring role model to all his family members,
Basil left an indelible mark on all those who met him: through his work at Martin Baker, the tennis clubs (San Diego, Chalfont St Peter and Chesham Bois), St Michael's Church, his neighbors at Vache Mews and his French friends from Cabourg.
The family invite you to join them to celebrate his rich and full life on Tuesday April 2nd at 13H15 at Amersham Crematorium followed by a reception at The Kings Arms, Amersham.
