Patrica Joan Dearman (Pat), died peacefully in her sleep at home in Cwm Penmachno, aged 69, on Tuesday 3rd October 2023.
Pat was born 25th March 1954 in Luton, where she lived and went to school. She met Bob and married at 17. They moved to Stevenage where she worked at a local bank until the birth of her three children.
She lived in and around Stevenage after her divorce, aged 32, and shared many years with Des, Reece and Marissa. She worked in the finance team at a dental equipment company and spent her evenings and weekends in her garden, with her family or her animals. On the passing of her parents in close succession, she retired and fulfilled a lifelong ambition of living in North Wales. Her “happy place”.
Pat is survived by her daughters Kerry and Emma and her son Ryan and her three grandchildren, Daniel, Rebecca and Brook.
Her whole life she was attracted to animals and nature. From helping with horses, walking golden retrievers, watching bats, feeding garden birds, creating havens for bumble bees and devoting hours to her cats. Pat has selected to leave a legacy for North Wales Wildlife Trust, a charity close to her heart.
As a tribute, the family has chosen ZSL for charity donations instead of flowers. Trips to Whipsnade Zoo (part of ZSL) were an annual treat for Pat as a child, as well as for her children and grandchildren.
