Francis Martin Smith (Martin)
Our family is saddened to announce the passing of Martin Smith. Born on 28 March 1948 in Hampden Park, Sussex, Martin leaves behind his loving wife, Steph, his children Callie, Mat, Nicky, Alan and Donna-Marie, and his grandchildren. His family and friends will remember his wonderful sense of humour, his love of music and his passion for walking the South Downs. Words cannot express how deeply he was loved, and how much he will be missed.
Martin’s family offer their thanks and appreciation for all those who attended his funeral (and the wake) on Tuesday 5 September 2023 at Eastbourne Crematorium. Donations (in lieu of flowers) may be made to the Royal British Legion on this page.
