For those who are not attending the committal, the Tythe Barn at Gatwick Manor will be available from 13:00 for you to await the arrival of the burial party.
In memory of
Thomas Bernard Frederick Simmons (Tom)
Tom sadly passed away at Millview Care Home, East Grinstead on the evening of Thursday 18th May following a six month battle with pancreatic cancer. He is survived by his son Martin Simmons and daughter Antonia Green.
His entire life he worked extremely hard, but always with humour. He applied himself to succeed in whatever he took on in his professional and personal life and he made so many great friends along the way!
Tom stayed in touch with many of his finance teams and fellow partners from his chartered accountancy roles, as well as his colleagues and friends from his beloved Millwall FC where he was company secretary for the past few years. He was delighted to have enjoyed visits from some of them in recent weeks.
Martin and Antonia would like to pass on their thanks to the nursing and care staff at Nufflield Health Hospital in Guildford and Millview Care Home in East Grinstead who, over the past six months, have looked after their Dad with compassion and care.
No flowers please - we would prefer donations to St Catherine's Hospice and Macmillan Cancer Support via the donations link provided - both of whom gave tremendous support to Tom and were close to his heart.
