In memory of
Derek Richard Ingle
Derek was born in Rainham, Essex on 18th December 1958. He died on the 26th August 2022, age 63 at Stoke Mandeville Hospital after 4 years of illness.
Derek was born to parents Daniel Ingle and Lina Tresalli Ingle. He lived most of his childhood in Huyton, Liverpool where he had a short career in Rugby League. Derek met his future wife Julie when working as an accountant in Italy in 1986. They married in February 1993 and had three children: Daniel, born November 1993, Hannah, born February 1995, and Sam, born August 1996.
Derek loved to travel, which he did as part of his career as an accountant and finally finance director for BP. He told stories of his time around the world to anyone that would listen. He was very proud of his Italian heritage, heaving learnt Italian as a teenager and loved trips to Tuscany with his whole family.
Before he became ill Derek brought Christmas joy to Buckingham and the surrounding areas as an energetic Father Christmas for the Table Buckingham, he looked for any excuse to put on his Santa suit!
Derek's family will remember him as the loud and colourful man that he was. Any donations will be split between Stoke Mandeville Hospital and The Churchill Hospital, where Derek received so much fantastic care over the last four years.
