To my lovely twin brother Richard. Loving dad to Laura & Hannah, and all his grandchildren. We didn't meet that often, but when we did, it was like we had been talking yesterday. I will never forget how he used to embrace Laura and Hannah every time the Bee Gees played, by dragging them on to the dance floor to make a fool of himself dancing.
I love you and will miss you more than you will ever know, Lots of love Mike

I was so sorry to hear about the loss of such a brave, humorous, gentle-man. I was lucky enough to be Richard’s Macmillan nurse when he was first diagnosed and to say he took the diagnosis and treatment (with all its ups and downs) like true warrior is an understatement. He had such a positive outlook and always had a me laughing at every appointment (with the most inappropriate timing)! I’ve never quite known anyone with as little luck regarding health as Richard but the support and love I saw from his family by far made up for the luck in his life. Sleep tight Richard, be at rest now bad keep a watch over your loved ones xxx
