Nuala you are the love of my life, ever since we met when I was 19. You gave Allanna and myself nothing less than unconditional love. You fought everyday with the pain you had for over 23 years and more, without complaint. Anyone who met you had their lives enriched, with humour, good advice and loyalty, rare attributes these days.
We will miss you ever day and you would have been so proud of Allanna, who has been immense, especially dealing with the recent tragic events. After 30 years as a Nurse, Midwife, Wife and nearly 23 years as a Mum, it is time to rest in peace, knowing you will be with Paul, Rita, Paul, Aunty Maureen and the rest of both our families. All my love always Frank, Allanna and Ollie.
RIP Dear Nuala. Your life was tragically cut short when you had so much to live for. Nuala lit up the room, where ever she went..... She had time for everyone and was always willing to offer her very wise advice. She was a fantastic Midwife .. I know that 1st hand.... Firstly I am so thankful for how incredibly kind Nuala always was to me. She always looked out for me, in anyway she could from the cinema trips we used to have, to taking me to the doctors (and having to put up with me) to just letting me come over for a chat and a cup of tea. Without a doubt she would instantly be there for me, cheering me up by making me laugh and giving me a little cuddle whenever I needed it.
I still can’t quite believe I won’t be able to have any of these moments again.

Nuala joined our sewing club right from the beginning and we all loved her. She was such a vivid person and so full of kindness and always interested in everybody. Children responded to her like a Pied Piper. We will all miss her immensely. I hope she is busy sorting out Heaven now.

So sad to read this news, condolences to Naula’s family.
I worked with Nuala as a very junior midwife and had the utmost respect for her. She took me under her wing and really supported me to develop & to settle in to my new role.
I was in the process of trying to get in touch to say thank you for everything she did for me….sorry I was too late.
