RIP Chris, we had some great times, we got ourselves into some tricky situations sometimes too.
I don’t think we would of survived these days doing what we did.... we definitely wouldn’t still have our driving licences...
I’m very sad I never got to say goodbye in person.....life just got in the way....
Rest well now my Friend....

We have many great memories of our time spent with Chris and Deb, the Sunday afternoon drinks and yearly bbq’s. We were truly honoured to be able to have two holidays to Costa Rica with them both. We had a fantastic time with them.
Chris had many passions, cooking, shooting, holidays and his love for Deb.
He will be very missed by everyone. At peace now Chris our friend xx

I have so many memories of staying at the White Lion with my bestie Lisa through all of our teenage years and you always being the cool big brother in his leathers on his motorbike and watching TV late at night in your room. I went through the “crush on my friends big brother” stage but you had no idea of course! I know how much Lisa adored you and how utterly heartbroken she is now you have gone. She has a million funny memories of you both in her childhood and those can never be taken away. Rest well Chris. You were truly loved xxxxx

When you live in their heart and mind

Alex and I met Chris 27 years ago when he bought our house in Walkern after his dad sold the White Lion (obvious where he got his cooking skills from). We stayed in Walkern for another 3 years and had many laughs with Chris up the pub every weekend. Sadly we moved and drifted apart. Alex got his wings 9 years before Chris but due to the same circumstances so hopefully they are enjoying a few pints together now.
Chris and I rekindled our friendship in sainsburys where he was always buying ingredients for that evening. He hadn’t changed and was still the same cheeky chappy right to the end. I’m so pleased I was able to enjoy many conversations with him by the cheese or melons!! Heaven is a richer place RIP Chris x
