My most vivid memories of Geoff will always be of coming over and without fail seeing him in the conservatory, working away listening to his jazz music. It’s not going to be the same without him. Love you Geoff, I’m so glad I got to know you. I’ll always think of you whenever I listen to jazz. The Salter house won’t be the same without you.

Geoff has hold a precious place in my life. We shared a lot while at Lancaster and I am happy that we stayed in contact. He was someone special, very human, intelligent, sensitive, with a strong sense of humour, off-the-wall. His eyes were sparkling when he was playing a leadership role during our students’ group works, when he was involving us with a « Go for it ! » exclamation. It is so sad, a shock. Rest in peace. My thoughts to his family.

I feel incredibly lucky & thankful to have known Geoff and call him a friend. He was an excellent manager & mentor at work but more importantly was a tremendous support during the most difficult time of my life. I'm so grateful he was able to attend my wedding last Summer to share one of my happiest days.

You will be greatly missed, Geoff. My thoughts and love are with your beautiful family. Rest in peace x

Thank you, Geoff, for being a great boss, mentor and friend. There was never a dull moment as you tirelessly strived to find ways to make work fun! The lessons I learnt from working for you those (almost) 20 years ago have helped me ever since. And I'll never forget how much you relished being a husband and Dad. Thank you for everything, I'll miss you.

I will always be thankful for the kindness and support Geoff showed me over the years of working together and miss the laughs we shared when he popped over for one of his Friday 5 o'clock chats.

Family was the most important thing to him and it was great being part of his work family.

I have many fond memories of Geoff, especially from working with him as part of the Corporate Marketing team at AXA PPP. He was a talented manager and marketeer who I learned a lot from. Always pragmatic and wise. But what I will remember most about Geoff is his sense of humour. He had such an easy laugh, which made working with him good fun. I will miss him. I send my heartfelt condolences to his family and friends and will be thinking of you all.
