Dad I really have no words to say how much I will miss you. You’ve always been there for me and we had some amazing times together. Just thinking of some of the things we done from mountain climbing, fishing, photography the list is endless. Thank you for being the best dad. When I look back I think I took a lot for granted but now you are not here a realised that I have been so privileged to have you as my dad. This photo was he last time we went out together for a pint of Harvey’s and a beauty pub lunch. I will always cherish these memories. I hope you are building that boat somewhere on a beautiful warm beach. Love you forever dad. Your ever loving son Steve

I’m so sorry for your loss. Bill was such a lovely man and my clear favourite resident when I worked for Hanover. He was clearly proud of you all. He will be missed by many. Sending my love Lorraine xxx

Dad - I hope we did you proud - you’d have loved Steve & Tom’s special song they did for you and I just know you were up there somewhere looking down, tapping your foot along and with a big proud smile on your face. Oh how I miss that face. I miss making those Saturday morning cups of tea and cakes. But I’ll keep doing my best to make you proud. I love you dad xxx

Dad it’s the first Father’s Day without you. Things will never be the same I really do miss you. Just want to pick up the phone and tell you what I’ve been up to. Got the camera out again and remembering all the walks and all the great times we had. Who can I ask for advice about what aperture or shutter speed should I use. Good job it’s digital now. Would cost you a fortune to process all my photographs. Love you dad. Sat by the river in Bristol you would of loved it here xxxx

The first Father’s Day without you dad. It’s so hard not being able to just pop in and see you and have a cuppa and a chat. Tom misses you so much. You were such an influence and big part of all of our lives. I hope we are still making you proud. Love you dad xxx
