I am deeply saddened by the passing of Philip. He was a kind, modest, and generous person, and his presence will be greatly missed. I will always remember how much he loved life, nature, animals, and his dedication to making work a better place. We often talked about photography, and Philip even organised the photo competition for us at work, bringing so much joy to the team. His passion and positive spirit were contagious, and he made a lasting impact on all of us. Please accept my heartfelt condolences during this difficult time. Dana x

Phil will be missed greatly, but we will keep his memory alive. He has taught us how to live life to the fullest.

Dear Rachel,

It seems such a short time a go that Phil told me the news of his diagnosis, at no point then did I ever think I would be writing this message. It has definitely been a tough time and I can only imagine the challenges you are going through. I know for me the conversation we have had over the last few weeks and months have helped me deal with and come to terms with the loss. Phil was such a lovely man, gentle hearted with a kind word to share. He was patient, caring and always happy to help. He was a true friend, a dedicated colleague and I know he was a loving husband. I know he will be massively missed at work especially the little things like his daily chocolate bar and his inhumanly flexible ankles, but mostly his kind smile and his sense of humour. It seems cruel that he was taken from us so young, but we will always have our memories of the good times we have shared. All my thoughts and best wishes are with you.

I remember Phil as a very nice guy who was easy to talk to. I knew him through the 3B’s YHA group- he will be sadly missed.

My sincerest condolences to your family and loved one during this tremendously difficult time. Phil was truly a light, with a warm, kind soul. Though we only worked together for a short while, I am deeply saddened to hear of his passing. Over time, may his memories bring smiles and joy to your hearts, as I’m sure he would have wanted it that way.

My wife and I were incredibly sad to hear of Phil's passing. We first met him well over 20 years ago with the Walking Group and got to know his kind and gentle personality well, he was taken far too young. We wish to pass our condolences on to Rachel and the rest of his family. David & Lois

Mark and I were truly saddened to hear if Phil’s passing. He was a kind and gentle man. I have fond memories of meeting him on my first Ramblers walk and of walking with you both across the years. Rachel, you are much in our thoughts as you navigate his loss.

It was a great shock to hear of Philip's passing. I spent much time with him in the 2000's on walks and trips away with the Chilterns 20s30s and attended his wedding. He was a very gentle person, relaxing and easy company. He loved his photography. Phil will be greatly missed.

It was with great sadness that I only recently learned of Phil's passing in March. Phil and I worked together for many years at OXIS, and I always considered him a true friend.
Phil had a remarkable way of introducing me to so many fascinating subjects, from intricate scientific research to the ins and outs of trading shares, and everything in between. He was a truly great colleague, and his presence will be deeply missed.
