We count ourselves very lucky to move next door to Les & his lovely wife Eve.
I have never seen a couple so devoted to each other & their family. It astounded me the amount of energy Les had even near enough to the end. Over the years they have been wonderful neighbours & even better great friends. Les’s humour was amazing, his laugh was infectious & that’s what he was a happy soul. I know whoever had the honour of knowing Les will miss his presence but will have many loving memories of their time spent with him. Our thought go out to Eve, their Boys & their family.

I have many fond memories of Uncle Les. A man who was funny, principled and when the wagging finger came out you knew to pay attention :-) He adored his family and was very proud of them all. He'll be sorely missed but never forgotten. I'm sorry that I can't make the funeral in person but I'll be there online and in spirit. Sammy xx
