Dear Betty,
I had no idea she had died how very sad.I first met her in Nanyuki when I was serving in the KAR and David was in the same unit as me. Sha and David were very kind to me as a new young subaltern and helped me a great deal to settle in.I shall do my best to attend her memorial srvive on the 27th.
