Sleep well my friend, such a wonderful man, he will be missed by all he knew him. Thoughts are with the family x
RIP mate
I didn't know Stephen as well as I would have liked to, but as his daughter, Aimee's good friend (and God daughter 🤣), I always saw the source of Aimee's impenetrable strength, irrevocably loving nature and deadpan sense of humour. It shone through Stephen in life, as will in memory. His remarkable contribution to this life will be legacy through his children and grandchildren. May God bless him in rest.
Lots of love Sammie, Joss, Lucian and Caius
Look forward to seeing you on the Re-Org. Thanks for coming to say goodbye.
You made the bad days good just by being there. I will always remember our times we spent together in the army and in Buckingham. RIP chosen man.
Deepest condolences wendy family friends on the very sad passing of Steve. A true gentleman legend, your time here is now done Steve stand down rest in everlasting peace my friend god bless Donna and Graham xx
On behalf of YDA, our deepest condolences to Charlie, Wendy and family on the very sad passing of Steve. Over the years I have known him. He had been so friendly, cared deeply about his family and friends, very supportive to YDA over the years. A truly great man
So very sorry for your loss. Steve was a larger than life character, in more ways than one!! We always got the impression that he was a fair and just man, like many of us Veteran's are....and would always help where he could.
I have since hearing of the sad news of Arfur passing struggling to know what to say, he was an exceptional man and brother rifleman, as many people know we had a resemblance in our stunning good looks, obviously, we had a bit of a laugh with this, he was on a 4 ton lorry once at the back of the vehicle looking out, the lorry passed my wife and kids and my eldest shouted out look there’s daddy!! The wife was laughing her head off as I was away. Anyway Arf we all had laughs so one day we will catch up for a pint
Rest in eternal peace.
A pillar of the community and many happy memories of the Army Cadet years from me. Steve impacted so many in a positive way and was respectful to all. On behalf of the Whatmore family, we are sorry for your families loss and wish Steve love and peace.
