I’m so sorry for your loss and the massive hole that will be left by the absence of such a great man.

I’m thankful I knew Phil for as long as I did (33 years by my calculations) and I’ll miss his bad jokes but great sense of humour. If there’s one thing which will always make me think of Phil, it’s Only Fools and Horses. It was always so much more enjoyable to watch these in his company, along with that identifiable and infectious chuckle.

Wherever he’s going, I hope his journey will be a peaceful one. If anyone deserves that, Phil certainly does.

Phillip and I sat next to each other at Brentford FC for over 30 years, firstly at Griffin Park and more recently at the new ground. That seat next to mine will never be filled for me again.

You’re one of the kindest, warmest, loveliest people I’ve ever met. I’ve always been in awe of you and Joan and the two most incredible humans you brought to the planet. The Boyces are an absolute gift to us all and you missing from them now is heartbreaking. I’ll miss your mischievous chuckle immensely but the incredible love you had for your family and friends will always be here. It was an absolute privilege to know you, Phill.. RIP x

Words cannot express how we feel about Phillip passing. He was a real gentleman. He always had time for anyone he spoke to and showed such an interest in everything around him.
