Dearest darling "Pop"
I didn't go back to see you soon enough, and for that I am so very sorry.
You were a light in my darkness when my Mum died, you made me laugh so much whenever I saw you.
You wrote the best scripts for the choir singalongs.
You were one of a kind.
On the day of your funeral I will be at sea, on a big ship - this somehow seems fitting.
You will be missed so, so much by so many people.

Patrick, you were an amazing man who, as our family doctor, saved the lives of both my daughters. Your unfailing humour and care ensured that we always left your surgery feeling better than when we went in. I will always be grateful to Dr. John (paediatrician at Worcester Royal Infirmary) for putting me in touch with you, and I know that you were so pleased that I, in turn, helped you to reconnect with your fellow student. To Jill and family, please accept my grateful thanks for this wonderful human, and accept my deepest sympathy and condolences on Patrick's passing. I will always have a special place in my heart and memory for Patrick, and for you all.
