We were saddened to learn of Len's passing. We knew him for many years when he was at Southern Counties Garages and after. Always cheerful , and liked and respected by all who knew him-staff, customers and friends. He will be greatly missed.

I worked alongside Len, at Southern Counties Garages in Crawley. Len had played a pivotal role in developing the aftersales business in what was at the time a successful car dealership group operating in Crawley and the surrounding area. He believed in self development and education which in turn helped to nurture many apprentices who went on to excel. Len during his time there also developed many "class leading" initiatives at what was a very busy and challenging British Leyland retailer. Later and ultimately undervalued he went on to work "as passionately as ever" in a number of roles well into retirement.
