To my Dear friend Christine, I knew you all from when Joanne started as YTS student at the Penta Hotel, Jo was a real character to work with and train and we became firm friends from then which continues...
Over the years, got to know you all very well, watching Simon grow up, hearing about the famous people along the way that Dave had installed heating for here and there, we shared a passion for cars and Chris would always sort me out with a Haynes manual for whichever car I had, which was a Ford Capri in those days, but Chris knew the exact book I needed everytime...
I would often see the start of Christmas dinner prep and chat about food in general... One Christmas you could not get in by the front door as Ellie's Christmas /Birthday present was wrapped and leaning against it... That year it was the latest cuddly Labrador puppy toy that Ellie had asked for.
I enjoyed cooking for you at the Hunters Moon when you dined out with friends Roxy and Dave ..I will personally miss the Christmas cards that would be sent to each other, your sense of humour, your world wisely advice whenever there were trials and tribulations, you always knew just what to say and never judged ..
I am richer in life for having known you and Dave too of course, I promise to check in on him every now and then .
