Bob we spent many an hour chatting about life at CBC in Stephenson Court. You were a kind man who was commended many times for your court work by the judiciary. Your care for our corporate children and families was wonderful - you did care.
I remember with fondness our first visit to see a new born in NICU- she was as big as your hand and we both marvelled at the fighter she was. You were always a good consul for me when I was struggling with my own stuff and we ALWAYS could laugh. I am grateful to have met you and known you and sorry I have not seen you other than a video call for so long. Sleep soundly Bob and catch you over the rainbow for a drink when the time comes. Bobby ..you will be missed. When Andi met you she spoke about your generosity and kindness and how you always cared for her. A gentleman and I already like you before I met you but when I did It was clear when I saw you together you were soul mates. I will miss your smile, sense of humour and your thumbs up selfless way you wanted those around you to be happy. You will be missed for you. Peace and love to you Bobby xxx

Bob, you taught me about being a social worker and said I was crazy for starting my SW qualification. I remember many chats we had, the wise words you gave me and you became known to me as ‘uncle Bob’. I will always have with me the life lessons and advice you gave me, that I will never forget. You are thought very highly at CBC and had such a great impact of everyone you worked with, the children, families, judges. I will do you proud Bob in my social work career and never forget what I learnt from you. I was glad to have spent time working alongside you in the court & perm team and remember when you provided us all with giant bottles of hand sanitiser when they were sold out everywhere during Covid and you were trying to keep us all safe on visits.
I will never forget your funky shirts you used to wear and your satchel.
You were taken from this world too soon. I miss you xxx
