May the Body and Blood of our Lord Jesus Christ preserve the soul of Anne until life everlasting. Amen
Anne has been a presence in our lIves for more than 40 years since our boys were at Primary School, and for most of that time, Anne and Mike were neighbours in Stewkley.
Enduring friendship meant sharing many of life’s milestones along the way, not least the anxieties in waving goodbye to a young Ian and our son Richard for an uncertain year of fortune in Australia.
Anne’s instinct for times when a sympathetic ear was all that might be needed to ease some troublesome issue was one of her most enduring gifts and we were lucky indeed to have it available when the need arose.
Although we moved some distance away several years ago now, we shall always remember Anne with much gratitude and fondness in the years to come.
Our thoughts go to Mike,Ian and Neil and their families.
I’ve known ANNE for nearly 60years from being teenagers following our boyfriends around with others from the Boys Brigade in Halifax
We might not of seen each very often in the passed few years, but when we did get together we didn’t stop talking. Mike and my late husband Mick must have got fed up with us.
I will missAnne, we were only a phone call away from each other ,
On August 7th I will be thinking of her and her family
With deepest sympathy for Mike and your family. May your love and support of each other guide you through this difficult time and when you're ready tears will be replaced with smiles of happy memories. Janette x

My thoughts are with you all today. I have very fond memories of Anne especially when visiting the home as I was growing up. Anne would always want to know what was going on and Neil would always want to keep all stories under wraps. This was easy as you can imagine.
Dear Mike, Ian, Neil and families,
My heart goes out to you all at this difficult time. Our experience of Ann was a fun, chatty, very kind person, who adored her family and we have fond memories of her as well as enjoying her delicious bakes.
She will be missed by all. Our thoughts are with you all today.
Much love Zoe and Rufus XX
