You were always such fun to be around, just last Christmas you had us in hysterics when singing the 12 days of Christmas.

We are so proud of all you achieved in helping so many animals.

We love you and miss you so much.

To Kirsty's family,

I met Kirsty as she trained me in 2009. I couldn't believe that I was lucky enough to be spending time with Kirsty as her amazing reputation preceded her. I couldn't have asked for a more kind, supportive and encouraging person to learn from. As soon as I met Kirsty I noticed that she radiated warmth and kindness. Kirsty put me instantly at ease. The most clear memory I have of Kirsty is of her next to her humongous great dane in her living room. The great dane bounding about and Kirsty with her beautiful smile laughing as the dane bounced about. I have often thought of Kirsty throughout my career as an inspector. I wanted to express to Kirsty's family how sorry I am to hear of Kirsty's passing. She really was incredible. Sending the warmest of hugs to Kirsty's children. May they know how fantastic and full of energy their mother was.

It was always such a delight working with Kirsty and she was always so passionate about the RSPCA and enthusiastic to share her work, her expertise and the charity's goal with the wider public through filming and speaking to the media. She was such a fierce woman and a fearless advocate for the animals she helped rescue, but she was also a joy to spend time with. Her smile was infectious and her stories were enthralling. I feel lucky to have been able to call Kirsty a colleague as well as a friend, and the RSPCA will certainly sparkle a little less without her.

My thoughts are with you all at this very sad time. We met at my vet practice when you were with the RSPCA and chatted over many cases. We had tea and cake just before you left on maternity and living locally we often reminisced. You will be sadly missed - rest in peace x

Kirsty, you shone a light on the world and I felt privileged and humbled to know and work with you. Your unrelenting kindness, devotion to animal welfare and your energy for life and love . On behalf of all the animals you saved from suffering and in particular from my dog Wilfie who you saved along with Ozzy thank you. The light you shone on us all will remain bright in all of us. RIP lovely lady you will be very much missed. X
