John really was the most amazing man. He did so much for me, in my darkest moments and he never failed to show such kindness and compassion. The world is a darker place without him in it.

I still can't believe that I won't get that special squeeze, that kindly smile, that listening ear and the support you provided so readily.
You have left a hole in my heart John. I hope that you will meet up with my mum and be able to finally stop fretting about "that" disaster!
Bless you. You were an absolute one-off.

I have great memories of the great banter I had with John while at Eastbourne DGH......we would often start our conversations about football banter and often forget the 'work side' of things ha ha A great guy, always had time for him and vice versa, he had a huge heart and bigger personality to go with it-I will always have fond memories of him, RIP John, one of the genuinely good guys πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ˜ž

Dearest John. I am truly so, so sad at your passing. Over the years we have known each other, you were always there for me, be it a tough day on the wards, or just a friendly natter.
You were such a support for me when I lost my darling daughter and again when I lost my beloved husband.
I will miss our hugs and chats over coffee and cake at our monthly Never Alone get together!
Thank you John for all your love and friendship, I will never forget such a kind and compassionate gentleman.
Sleep tight my dear friend, you will be sorely missed.
Radish sends you a big sloppy lick and a massive woof!

John was such a lovely man, always with a smile on his face - even when he had to have the boot on his foot he still made light of the situation.
I actually met John, as he was a regular at my work and every Saturday without fail we had a chat about his home life, his lovely wife, his children, and his grandchildren. He was so proud of them. Always asked about my children too.

Rest in peace John :)
