Rita was my favourite resident (I work at Willow Court) she was my best friend in the home. I used to sit in her room for hours with her telling me stories about her life and her family who she loved very much. When Rita moved homes I wasn’t happy, she was the reason I loved going to work. I spoke to her on the phone the week before she passed and had planned to see her at the end of the month. When I heard she had passed I was devastated, she was the most amazing woman with a heart of pure gold. I am so sorry for loss xx

Rita was the absolute best resident at Willow, she was constantly making everyone around her laugh, and I loved the time I spent chatting with her in her room about anything and everything. When I left working at Willow she was definitely the hardest person to leave behind, but I came back to visit after leaving a few times so we could have a catch up. I will miss her so much and will think of her often, she was an incredible woman.
