Russell, the best ‘System Fairy’ on the planet. Your work ethic, and sheer commitment, having a computer at your hospital bed when you were able was both amazing and crazy ! Your dry sense of humour, fabulous wit and micky taking one liners made you a very much loved member of a great team. My thoughts and hugs for Claire, Noah and Sebastian and all the family. His sense of fun and love for his family will live on but the world has lost a precious gift that was Russell.

I was so sad to hear about Russell. We spent many an hour taking about all things KBR, SAP and Oracle. It was always a pleasure spending time with him and catching up. My condolences to the family. Thinking about you from afar. Sorry I can’t make it along

Dear all.
I am very sorry I cannot join you today but I am in India on a business trip and wanted to send you my personal condolences. Russell was a very special individual whom demonstrated a quiet and professional approach to everything he did for KBR. The way in which he battled his illness showed an inner strength not many of us have and he set a bar for us all to achieve when faced with similar challenges. He will be sadly missed by the entire KBR organization and my sincerest condolences are with you all at this very difficult time.

Farewell Russell.
It has been a real pleasure knowing you and working with you.
I remember when you joined KBR back in 2002. I liked you immediately for your enthusiasm, lively personality and cheeky grin.
I remember you leaving to work for the RSPB, but you came back to us and then your career took off!
You were great at your job and a joy to work with, and I never remember you losing your temper or saying a harsh word.
It is very sad that you leaving us so soon, but now your pain is over and you may rest in peace

May there be comfort in knowing that someone so special will never be forgotten, Russell you touched everyone's heart's in the best way possible....

I will always remember Russell smiling. Through all the years I've known him, he has been a support to everyone especially in HR, our IT guru! He dealt with everything head on, changes and challenges at work and there were quite a few. He seemed to have taken the same approach to his health, normalising his condition so we could talk with him in a practical, not sad way. Thinking of everyone else always. We are missing him greatly xx
